Seminole County, Georgia arrest warrants are judicial orders to only come from the local criminal court. Through such a legal instrument, the court directs the police to bring the accused in so that he/she may be tried. However, before this order is issued, the police need to have a strong case on their hands.

The court will not issue an active warrant just because the investigating officers make a verbal request for it, nor can the evidence presented in the police affidavit be hearsay. Only if there are factual proof and witnesses to back the sheriff’s office’s claims will a Seminole warrant be given.

Once a detention order is released, the police are obligated to arrest the individual whose name it was issued. They cannot refuse to execute the order. This holds in the case of all judicial provisions, including bench warrants and search orders. When looking for arrest records from Seminole County, you have two options.
